Bodies need space to rest. But, let's change our paradigm with death and imagine how they can continue interact with the society, even after life.
What if they can (naturally) be transformed into plants and placed in public spaces?
Instead of confining them in cemeteries, they can become part of parks and green areas in the guise of flowers.
Everyone can leave their own floral will to the society, modifying the DNA of the plants to create personalized and unique patterns.
This way, we can culturally reconnect with the natural circle of life and stop exorcising death, to see it no longer as a definitive end but as an infinite process.
